A hand crafted, embroidered and hand painted fabric brooch representing the striking, pink and black Bullfinch.
This Bullfinch brooch is created from many layers of fabrics that are embroidered and painted to create a three-dimensional effect. The reverse is backed with soft felt and the edges are sealed so that the fabric does not fray.
The brooch is lightweight, soft, flexible and fairly robust so very easy to wear on any garment.
Vikki Lafford Garside's designs are developed from initial drawings and studies which then pass through many different processes of dye, print, stitch, cutwork and heat manipulation to create unique and entirely wearable, decorative and colourful textile accessories for you to wear and treasure.
